2CU Read Book Drive

Concluding 2021, 2COACHU hosted a book drive for OUSD students. In this drive we provided over 100 books to students at numerous Oakland schools: Markham, Piedmont, Emerson, Carl B Munck, Allendale, Hoover, Brookfield, Melrose Leaders, OSA, AIMS and many more! Our goal for this drive was two-pronged: one, provide inner-city youth with literature —of their choosing— in order to boost literacy skills; two, mitigate winter slide.

We look forward to following this event with another book drive in the spring before students leave for summer break. Please help us with a donation so that we can reach our goal of providing books to over 200 OUSD students!
